Airside International, a leading voice in the GSE industry, recently featured Jofrauto — both in its digital edition and in the summer 2026 print magazine — in a report on the trends reshaping potable water and lavatory service vehicles. And we have plenty to share on that front.

Our range: JOFR-WSU and JOFR-TSU
Our potable water(JOFR-WSU)and lavatory service(JOFR-TSU)vehicles are mounted on commercial chassis, built for reliability and easy maintenance from day one.
With capacities ranging from 1,000 to 5,000 litres, we offer configurations with or without an integrated basket lift, adapting to any aircraft type — from compact regionals to the largest widebodies.
Simplicity that cuts costs
For Juan Manuel Piedras, Jofrauto's sales manager, the philosophy behind these vehicles is clear: our water management solutions are engineered for simplicity and cost-effectiveness, prioritizing intuitive operation and streamlined maintenance.
This focus on simplicity is no coincidence — it directly answers what procurement departments are looking for today: optimizing fleet total cost of ownership (TCO) without sacrificing performance.

Juan Manuel Piedras — Director Comercial, JofrautoElectrification and hydrostatic machines
The industry is shifting toward electric chassis, and at Jofrauto we're ready: our designs are optimized for seamless integration with either diesel or electric chassis, without compromising the long service life these vehicles are known for.
We're also developing hydrostatic models, responding to growing interest in certain markets for machines that enable more streamlined operations and, potentially, fewer operators on the apron.
Expanding into North America
Our strategic partnership with Aeroservicios in Florida remains key to our North American expansion. As Piedras puts it, this collaboration helps the team better understand regional market nuances and tailor their offering accordingly.
Our primary delivery destinations currently span major hubs across Europe and the Middle East, with recent orders for units ranging from 1,000 to 4,500 litres, including high-capacity models with basket lifts.
